Bernier Lauredan

Bernier is currently a first year MBA Candidate at Yale School of Management. He was born and raised in Northern NJ, and is a first-generation American of Haitian ancestry. Bernier attended undergrad at New York University where he was a four year member of the track team and studied abroad in London UK. Prior to coming to Yale, Bernier worked as an Education Pioneers Fellow for Newark Charter School Fund, a private foundation supporting charter school development in Newark, NJ.

From a young age, Bernier has been passionate about diversity and mentorship. At NYU, he served as a school ambassador and helped with the schools diversity recruiting initiatives. After graduating from NYU, Bernier served as a volunteer mentor and Co-Chair of the Young Executive Board for iMentor, a non-profit that provides personalized mentoring services to inner-city youth in NYC. Long term, Bernier plans to pursue a career at the intersection of policy and social impact.
