Lindsey is a first-generation college student raised in a small, rural community just south of Lansing, Michigan. While in high school, she served as class and student council president, captained her volleyball and track teams, worked as a freshman mentor, and counseled youth through religious and nature camps.
At Yale, Lindsey sings in the Yale Gospel Choir, works as a Peer Liaison for the Native American Cultural Center and as a Calhoun College Master’s Aide, as well as participating in a native women's coalition called Yale Sisters of All Nations. She is double majoring in Psychology and Political Science, and is interested in pursuing careers in public mental health and policy. Her other interests include baking, running, playing the ukulele, seeking the best foods of New Haven, and working with Yale freshman and New Haven youth.
